The Rioja Experience (Spain)
Enjoy two nights in Áurea Palacio de Correos, this boutique style hotel preserves the soul of the original Post Office structure and stands as a fine example of the city’s neo-baroque style. Within the old town of Logroño, enjoy an immersive two hour guided experience through the heart of the city’s historic centre, where the culinary culture comes to life. Enjoy the carefully curated selection of traditional taverns, each with its own characters, to sample iconic pintxos, perfectly paired with regional wines from La Rioja. As you move from bar to bar, your guide will share stories of local customs and culinary traditions.
Enjoy a full day for your chauffeur driven private tour through Rioja Alta. This Rioja is renowned for its cooler climate, gentle rolling vineyards. With its classical Tempranillo style and a landscape dotted with some of Spain’s storied estate, Rioja Alta offers a perfect setting for a day devoted to wine, heritage and scenery.
For the evening, you and your group will enjoy a convivial dinner on the final evening with Rioja wine. A perfect way to round off the evening.
Final morning – enjoy free time to enjoy Logroño – perhaps visit an urban cellar or walk along streets that form part of the Way of St James, it really is an amazing place to explore on foot.
