A World Golf Hall of Fame inductee and one of the most celebrated and accomplished golfers of all time. With an incredible 87 professional tournament wins worldwide , 4 majors and an unrivalled record in the Solheim Cup, Dame Laura Davies is a name that resonates with golf enthusiast around the world, a true legend in the world of sport.
Not only one of the European Tour’s leading players in the 70’s 80s and 90’s, as a European Ryder Cup hero Sam sank the winning putt at the Belfry in 1985 to secure the first victory for the European side in 28 years, and in 2002 guided the team to victory as Ryder Cup Captain. One of the game’s great characters and story tellers.
The event will be hosted by BBC golf broadcaster Iain Carter, guiding us through an afternoon of insight, humour, and celebration.
The afternoon’s entertainment won’t end with Joe, as the brilliant comedian Scott Bennett will be taking time out from his sell-out nationwide tour to join us again with a brand new show.
