Lord’s Long Room Lunch 30 July 2026 (London)
Now a firm favourite in our annual events calendar, we are delighted to host our Long Room Lunch in the hallowed environs of the spiritual ‘home of cricket’. We are thrilled to announce that we will be joined by one of England’s key players across formats in recent years, all-rounder and Warwickshire legend, Chris Woakes, a veteran of 62 Tests and 155 short format matches. Chris will be joined by two more huge names from the world of cricket to be announced shortly, last year’s line-up included Liam Livingstone, Kumar Sangakkara and Steve Harmison. 2026 is another busy year for English cricket, with high-profile Test series against New Zealand and Pakistan, and short format series against India, with 2027’s Ashes series at home looming large on the horizon. There will also be the hot topic of the recent IT20 World Cup, it will be fascinating to hear what our panel has to say about the state of the game!

Across his international career, Woakes has played over 60 Tests, taking nearly 200 wickets and scoring over 2,000 runs, alongside more than 170 wickets in One Day Internationals.
