EMG's Company Golf Challenge 2012
GS Floors the field for the big prize

Another year on and another EMG Golf event reaches a finale, amidst rain and a little sun. The teams looked forward to another fine days’ golf, competing for the annual trophy at Leatherhead Golf Club.

With a mixture of businesses from construction, recruitment, engineering, finance, IT and heating, the day started with rain, however some good scores were posted.

Good scores were posted from most teams, with the top three teams within 5 points of each other. The winners were GS Underfloor Heating who won with an impressive score of 96 points, Central London Heating took the runners up prize on 92 points. Another point further back were BSS.

 

The winning team, scoring 96 points, from GS Underfloor Heating, Gerald Stow, Adam Fahey, Geoff Chance and Nathan Bennett.

Runners up, Central London Heating came in second with 92 points,
3rd place went to BSS, with 91 points,
Longest Drive winner was Paul Hanley (BSS) and the Nearest the Pin on the 18th was won by Chris Miller Hanna (PA Goup).

The renowned comedian, Jed Stone joined the guests after dinner to engage with the audience and recount a few tales, covering everything from politics to topical issues, including neighbours, the fairer sex and sport.
